OpenMinTeD
OpenMinTeD is an H2020 project that has set out to boost the use of Text and Data Mining (TDM) in Open Science, by bringing together in a cloud-based infrastructure a significant number of high quality state of the art TDM tools and applications and the biggest dataset of Open Access scientific and scholarly content ready to be mined, linked to OpenAIRE and CORE. Its vision of creating an open and secure e-infrastructure where researchers and TDM experts can share their resources and collaboratively create, discover, share and re-use new knowledge mined from text-based content sources has been accomplished.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): What does it mean for research and repository managers?
Many funders ask for a Data Management Plan (DMP), even if you are not funded, or your funder doesn’t need one, a DMP is a good way to think about GDPR and data protection by design. Thinking about Data protection by design and creating a DMP should let you outline you plans for data capture, re-use of existing data, data security, and retention policies. Funders may also have specific guidelines and mandates which expect a certain level of Open data and retention and this can be captured and retained for reference in the DMP.
